Parse invoice text into structured JSON with line items, totals, tax, currency, and automatic validation. Detects arithmetic errors, missing fields, and extracts bank details.

What it does

parse_invoice — takes invoice text and returns:

  • vendor_name, vendor_tax_id, customer_name
  • invoice_number, invoice_date, due_date, currency
  • line_items — description, quantity, unit_price, total, tax_rate
  • subtotal, tax_total, discount, total
  • payment_terms, bank_details_present
  • validation: line_items_sum_matches_subtotal, subtotal_plus_tax_matches_total, currency_detected
  • issues — arithmetic or consistency problems
  • confidence, needs_review
