Review an unsigned security.txt file before publication or check whether its disclosure contacts are stale.
Paste the file into check_security_txt to receive normalized fields, line-numbered issues, expiry time and days remaining. Checks missing Contact and Expires fields, repeated singleton fields, malformed lines and URIs, insecure HTTP links, expired files and upcoming expiry.
No network requests, email delivery or input storage. This is a common-issue checker, not a complete RFC 9116 validator. Signed PGP input is rejected; signatures, file hosting, URL reachability and contact ownership are not verified.
