JWT Decoder

Decode JWT tokens and check expiration status.

What it does

decode_jwt — decodes a JWT token.

  • Returns header (algorithm, type)
  • Returns payload (claims, user data)
  • Returns expiration status

check_jwt_expiry — checks if a token is expired.

  • Returns time until expiry (or time since expiry)
  • Human-readable format ("Expires in 2 hours")

Why use it

  • Developers — debug JWT issues during development
  • Support teams — check if customer tokens expired
  • Security audits — inspect token contents
  • API debugging — verify claims in tokens

⚠️ Note

This tool decodes JWTs (base64) — it does NOT verify signatures. Use it for inspection, not security validation.

Pricing

  • Free: 50 requests/day
  • Pro: $5/month — 1,000 requests
  • Pay-as-you-go: $0.01 per request
