Overview
The mcp-empresas-br server provides programmatic access to public Brazilian corporate data for automated due diligence and compliance checks, directly in your MCP-compatible agent. It aggregates Receita Federal, Portal da Transparência (CGU) and CVM data by CNPJ, so you can check entity status, federal sanctions and public contracts without manual lookups. Every fact comes with its source, the query date and an explicit per-source status: a source that fails is reported as failed, never as "nothing found".
Key Capabilities cadastro_empresa: Official registration details for any CNPJ from Receita Federal data. sancoes_empresa: Federal administrative sanctions: CEIS, CNEP, CEPIM and leniency agreements. contratos_publicos: Most recent contracts with the Brazilian Federal Executive Branch. registro_cvm: Whether the company is registered as a publicly held company with the CVM. relatorio_completo: All of the above in parallel, in one report, with partial results if a source is down.
Use Cases Vendor onboarding: run relatorio_completo to surface existing federal sanctions and public contracts before approving a supplier. Market research: use registro_cvm and contratos_publicos to map the public-sector exposure and regulatory standing of potential targets. Data enrichment: fill CRMs and dashboards with registration status, activity codes and legal nature using cadastro_empresa. Who This Is For
Developers, data analysts and compliance teams working with Brazilian entities who need public records inside their workflows. The server returns facts only, with no risk scoring: your agent or analyst interprets them.
Good to know Responses are in Portuguese (field names and source data), as published by the Brazilian government. LLM agents handle this fine. Legal entities only, LGPD-compliant: no partners/shareholders, emails or phone numbers. For sole proprietors and MEI, name and address are omitted. Contracts cover the Federal Executive Branch only (not states or municipalities). Public data, no guarantee of completeness. Not legal or financial advice.
