OVERVIEW A cost-basis engine for crypto ledgers that does the arithmetic in exact decimals and shows its work. Feed it exchange exports (Coinbase, Kraken ledgers, or a generic CSV), get one canonical ledger back, lint it for the gaps that break a lot build, pair your own withdrawals with the deposits that received them, then build the lot inventory per account with FIFO, LIFO, HIFO or specific identification — wallet-by-wallet, as Treas. Reg. 1.1012-1(j) identifies units within a wallet or account. Disposals come out with basis, proceeds, gain and holding period; Form 8949 rows and a 1099-DA reconciliation follow.
