Trade Tariffs MCP classifies goods against the official USITC Harmonized Tariff Schedule and returns duty rates with each rate column explained: Column 1 general, Column 1 special preferential programmes, and Column 2.
It handles the trap that makes naive HTS lookups wrong. Rates are published on the 8-digit subheading, while the 10-digit statistical lines you actually put on a customs entry are blank - read literally, a dutiable good looks duty-free. This server walks up to the nearest ancestor carrying a rate and tells you where it came from. Chapter 99 footnotes are surfaced too, because those signal section 232 and 301 duties absent from the published rate.
No API key. US imports only; EU research entry points are provided as deep links.
