MCPize Search
Search and discover MCP servers and tools from the MCPize marketplace — directly from your AI assistant.
Tools
search_mcps — Search for MCP servers by name or description. Returns a rich listing for each match including description, tool/resource/prompt counts, developer info, pricing, ratings, and a direct link.
search_tools — Find specific tools across all MCP servers using natural-language queries (e.g. "convert images to PDF", "manage team schedules"). Uses MCP sampling to let the host LLM rank results by relevance, with an automatic keyword-search fallback for clients that don't support sampling.
How it works
- search_mcps performs keyword matching against server names and descriptions on the MCPize API.
- search_tools first attempts AI-powered ranking via MCP sampling — it sends the full tool catalog to the host model and asks it to pick the most relevant matches. If the client doesn't support sampling, it falls back to multi-term keyword search across tool and server names/descriptions.
Use cases
- Discover MCP servers for a domain ("astronomy", "e-commerce", "DevOps")
- Find a specific capability across the marketplace ("send Slack messages", "query PostgreSQL")
- Compare pricing and ratings for competing servers
